My name is Hillary Hitz. I am the owner of Hitz Legal Services. I was raised in Bellingham and graduated from Whatcom Community College in 2018 with a degree in paralegal studies. My journey took an exciting turn when I discovered process serving during an internship, igniting my passion for this profession. In 2021, I relocated to King County to launch Hitz Legal Services, where I apply my expertise and commitment to the community. As a lifelong Washington resident, I am dedicated to providing my clients with integrity and professionalism.

Did you know that process serving has roots dating back centuries?
Our work as process servers actually traces back to ancient times, when formal legal systems required messengers to deliver important documents in places like ancient Rome and Greece. By the 17th and 18th centuries, process serving evolved into a distinct role, especially in England, to uphold due process. The profession really took shape in the 19th century in the United States, becoming the essential link in the legal system that it is today.
